Morning
As everyone, we have yuletide music everwhere. In the car, @ home, on the ipod, streaming from the internets, on tv. One of our favs is this one. Hope you enjoy it...
I have listened to this duo, and been alternately wowed, and unsettled. An interesting mix of old and new.

Hi
Sorry about the short notice of this event, but, I forgot to post to the blog. The 'poster' says it all. 'Click' on the date and address below to link to Google maps, or see the map below all of this.

HI
we're gonna go see Arlo Guthrie tonight @ the Coronado Theatre. Should be an interesting evening.
Here is a man who performed @ the original Woodstock, not the reruns.
He's a good storyteller, and musician, with a humble demeanor.
Let you know how it was. . ..
Hi
wow, Sunday evening already, and where did the weekend go? Sorry we didn't post sooner, but life kinda got in the way. Except for the fact that Maggie had to work her already shrinking butt off on Thursday and Friday, so she didn't get to work out, we had a good start to the weekend. Saturday morning, we went to Madison to the farmers market for probably the last time this season. The shear magic of fresh, really fresh produce, straight from the grower, is not to be believed. Then, speaking of food, we went to, you guessed it, Bluphies for lunch. Mmm mmm. . . What more can I say? After a wonderful lunch, we stopped @ Madison Music, to visit with our friend Mike, and look @ all the wonderful instruments. No, none came home with us, but the year isn't over yet.
Saturday night, the evening took a turn for the odd and unusual. A friend that is really like a brother to me, isn't happy with the way that we are appreciating his band. We think that they are good, but, they have a slightly different style and presentation than we do. Doesn't make it bad, it's just their style, not mine. Our friend is very good, really. The rythym section is great, but the rest of the band just isn't my cup 'o tea. It's good tea, just not my tea. However, we are getting scourged 'cuz we are not wearing band t-shirts and jumping up and down. I am thrilled that my friend is finally getting his wish of a successful band, but, I do not know what to say to convince him that we are happy for him, and that they are good. . .
Sorry, rant before bed isn't good for one. . .
Nite. . .
They were excellent! Had to share!
This is Catfish Stephenson. Most Saturdays he plays by the farmers market in Madison Wisconsin. Quite the artist.
