Some mid week blogging

From last week's dinner at the herb farm, here's a grand photo.  What you can't tell from the picture is that it was darn hot.  Really hot.  Better that than rain as we say here in the weather changeable midwest.

To the right is Mollie and I at the aforementioned herb farm.  No, I'm not wearing an afgan on my lap, that's a colorful skirt that just happens to look like a bed throw.

We did enjoy our evening at the farm and it's a great idea to get out and enjoy some of our local flavors.

We certainly haven't been biking too much this year.
Hopefully with some time off next week we'll get a few more rides in.



The new furnace and a/c have been installed, and true to form it is just about the coolest start to July we've ever experienced.  After last week's record heat we've gone the other way and tonight the low will be in the low 50's.

What a strange summer indeed.

We'll be taking part of our "suck-cation" next week.  I'll be going to work one day just to stay one step ahead, both work wise and bill wise.
The next  year & beyond  has been laid out in financial installments and we've got our fingers crossed that no more black cats cross our paths. 


Looking ahead on a brighter note though-  4th of July this weekend!  Fun and cookouts and music.  Pictures to follow, and that's a guarantee.
